How to prevent children from making unintended purchases on iTunes App Store.                  One-click purchase option allows you to make purchase new apps from the iTunes App Store with a single tap. If you have at home – the One-click option lets chance to your kids to buy new app from iTunes then that can spike your iTunes bill as well.

Purchase new apps by one-click buying option in your iPhone or iPad. Unfortunately childrens are making purchase by this option. So, we should try to prevent children from making unintended purchases on iTunes App Store.

To give you an example, I bought an app – say a car racing game – from the iTunes Store at the request of my child, after few minutes my child buy an other game /app from the App store without even knowing your Apple ID/password

Hide the App Store Icon to restrict kids from buying paid apps /games on your iPhone /iPad without your approval.

Go iOS device Settings –> General –> Restrictions and tap Enable Restrictions. Enter a 4 digit passcode and then turn on restrictions for “Installing Apps” and “In-App purchases”.

If you want to buy an app later, you need to Go Setting page and disable restrictions for “Installing Apps.
